White ink is widely used in packaging and other printing processes

In order to present exquisite patterns, improve barcode readability, and cover the background color of the original printing material to accurately reproduce the image, white ink is often used as the first and second colors for printing, and other colors are printed on this basis


However, the result of this is that the adhesion strength of the white ink on the printed matter will directly affect the pass rate of the printed matter



For example, when a printing factory was producing a certain type of cigarette box, the barcode grade was not qualified, resulting in downtime and waste. After further observation under a microscope, it was found that there were large and numerous light spots in the areas of the unqualified barcode. In other words, the adhesion of the white ink in the unqualified barcode area on the laser card is low, and the white ink base is not solid, resulting in the inability to completely cover the gloss of the laser card, ultimately leading to the unqualified barcode



Therefore, improving the adhesion of white ink on printed materials is of crucial and important significance for practical production


As LED gradually replaces mercury lamps, 385 band LED light sources are generally used on the market for white ink curing. However, the effect is often poor, and it is easy to cause ink pulling and rubber ink accumulation in printed products, resulting in unstable product quality

Compared with the general 385 band LED lights on the market, the UVLEDTEKg white ink light performs excellently, with no ink pulling phenomenon, a dry surface, and no white ink accumulation on the rubber


When the test printing speed reaches 12000 prints per hour, silver polyester, gold surface, silver laser and other printing materials and paper under ordinary LED light irradiation may have slight or severe ink pulling phenomenon depending on the paper quality



Under the illumination of the Youwei Star white ink lamp, the quality of the printed material is very stable, and no ink pulling or stacking occurs regardless of the paper quality
