LED-UV curing technology can effectively overcome the shortcomings of traditional UV mercury lamps, such as high energy consumption, ozone generation, short lamp life, and inability to recover metallic mercury









The application advantages of LED UV

LED-UV ink consists of four parts: resin connector, initiator, pigment powder, and auxiliary agent. Among them, resin connectors contain a large number of active functional groups. When exposed to UVA (315-400nm) ultraviolet light, the initiator in the ink generates free radicals or ions that can initiate polymerization, promoting cross-linking of the active functional groups and completing the solidification of the ink from small molecules to large molecules


1、 Addressing the drawbacks of traditional printing


LED UV light source can achieve instant curing of ink, completely different from traditional printed materials that need to be left for one to two days to dry


Traditional printed materials can only withstand wear up to 10 times, while LED UV printed materials can withstand wear up to 100 times


After the LED-UV ink is instantly cured, the surface film is relatively hard, completely eliminating the problem of back dirt that is prone to occur in printed materials. Moreover, it achieves rapid curing without the need for additional powder coating, making the printing workshop clean and hygienic, and greatly improving the printing environment


2、 Improve printing efficiency


There are two printing schemes for business printing, one is single-sided four-color printing twice, and the other is front and back eight color printing once. Traditional printing often takes 2-4 days from receiving orders to shipping, while LED-UV printing can be shipped at any time without waiting for the ink to dry, greatly improving efficiency
